Twice Told Tales (TTT) Book Store

Twice Told Tales will be open Saturday June 24, 9:00 am to 2:00 pm.  The used book store is at 765  South Main, Scottsburg and is operated by Friends of the Library.
     The summer special is Buy 2 books Get 1 Free.  Every book in the store is included in this awesome deal!
Featured for another day is religious, political, and government books and a collection of classic and more recent
movie DVDs.
      Donations are gratefully accepted during store hours.
On that note: the customer who donated mainly psychology and mathematics books on May 27 needs to check backwith us.  You made a donation that you probably didn’t intend!
     Next month sale days are July 7, 8, and 22.

Twice Told Tales will be open Friday, June 9, and Saturday, June 10, 9:00 am to 2:00 pm both days.  The used book store is at 765 South Main, Scottsburg.
     The children’s book sale was a success!  The Friends will match the total sales and send a check for $500 to the Library’s Summer Reading Program.  The Friends and the Library thank you!
     All books will qualify for the Buy 2 – Get 1 Free special for June, July, and August.  Buy any 2 hardbacks, paper-backs, or children’s books and the third one is free.  What a great way to stock-up on your summer (beach?) reading!
     Three sections of the store have been completely sorted and re-stocked.  The religious, political, and government shelves have a new look and new titles.  Also out for the first time is a recent donation of 34 movie DVDs suitable for PG-13 and older.
     Twice Told Tales is operated by Friends of the Library for the benefit of all Scott County readers.  Donations are gratefully accepted during store hours

Twice Told Tales will be open Friday, April 7, and Saturday, April 8, 9:00 am to 2:00 pm.  The used book store is at 765 South Main, Scottsburg.
     April’s warm temps, sunshine, and showers have us thinking about gardening.  We’ve “dug” through our inventory, “unearthed” all the gardening and landscaping books, and “scattered” half-off prices on them.  We also found a copy of  “The Best Birdhouses for Your Backyard.”  Only one early bird will get it!
      All Romance and Science-Fiction are also half-priced this month.  Hardbacks are 50 cents and paper-backs are 25 cents.
     Weather permitting, the Bargain Bench will hold four new $1 boxes. That’s $1 for the whole box!  If you’re aJames Michener, Robin Cook, or Charlotte MacLeod mystery fan, these boxes are for you.  Bagged  Harlequins will also be out front and they are FREE.
     Twice Told Tales is operated by Friends of the Library.  Their next quarterly meeting is April 17.  The book store will open again April 22.

are half-priced — 50 cent hardbacks and 25 cent paperbacks.
    Harlequin sack sales are also continuing.  Bags of 20 books are only 50 cents and
do-it-yourself sacks are 11 books for $1.
    The front room of the store has been restocked with the best of new donations in a
wide variety of genres.

Twice Told Tales will be open Friday, January 13, and Saturday, January 14, from 9:00 am to 2:00 pm both days.
The used bookstore is at 765 South Main, Scottsburg.
     Rosanne Bittner?  B.J. Daniels?  Lindsay McKenner?  Are the names familiar?  Recent donations have  included these authors along with Wanda Brunstetter’s six-book THE DISCOVERY series.  The front-room shelves hold them and an eclectic mix of interesting titles at very good prices.
     Out with the old and in with the new!  The “cozy” mystery shelves and many others in the main room have been changed-out to offer browsers exciting possibilities for snowy-evening reading

All proceeds benefit the readers of Scott County through the Public Library and Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library.

 Twice Told Tales is ready for Christmas!  The used book store’s shelves are filled with every Christmas book in inventory and that’s a huge number!  From children’s books to cookbooks,  inspirational to westerns, and mysteries to romance, every genre has a wide selection.
     The store will be open Saturday, November 26, 9:00 am to 2:00 pm and is at 765 South Main, Scottsburg.

Twice Told Tales will be open Saturday, May 28, 9:00 am to 2:00 pm at 765 South Main, Scottsburg.
On the New Donation shelves are two nice collections. First is a complete set of books by Nicholas Sparks. The other is a boxed set of the eight LITTLE HOUSE ON THE PRAIRIE books. This set will not be broken and is priced for $5.00.
Short stories and books of poetry remain the half-priced special of the day.
Authors making up the Mix ‘n Match Combos are Sandra Brown, Tom Clancy, Janet Evanovich, Joanne Fluke, and Ken Follett. Any five books from these writers are only $1.00!
