The Scottsburg Kiwanis Club recognized twenty-five third graders at Johnson ES with a pizza party for making the BUG Honor Roll the last grading periodBring Up Grades (BUG) is a Kiwanis signature program designed to provide incentives to students to improve their grades.  To make the BUG Honor Roll a student must improve at least one grade in at least one subject and not go down in any other subjectsBUG Honor Roll students in Mrs Meadow’s class are Destiny Campbell, Atlanna Deaton, Emma Elliot, Axel Hawkins, Arianna King, Cohen Long, Lucas Miller, Elijah, Bryan Wilson and Makayla Baker.  BUG Honor Roll students in Mrs Rose’s class are Aven Broadus, Beau Carter, Braylee Castillo, Harley Fuson, Alicyn Glenn, Shylah Hill, Mady Lainhart, Levi Lewis, Landon Newton, Lily Parker, Brooklin Rockey, Austin Sandlin, Emmalee Schill, Kaitlyn Terry and Nariah TurnerBUG is made possible by the generous sponsorship of Kiwanis Corporate Member Austin Tri Hawk.  Congratulations to these outstanding students.

The Scottsburg Kiwanis Club recognized twenty-three third graders at Johnson Elementary School for making the BUG Honor Roll the third grading periodBUG which stands for Bring Up Grades is a Kiwanis signature program to provide incentives to students to improve their grades.  To make the BUG Honor Roll a student must improve at least one grade in at least one subject and not go down in any other subjects.  BUG Honor Roll students receive a party with snacks, prizes, a certificate identifying the subject(s) they improved and a BUG T-Shirt the first time they make the BUG Honor RollOf the twenty-three students recognized for bringing up their grades this grading period, eighteen made the BUG Honor Roll for the first time.  BUG Honor Roll students in Ms Meadow’s class are Bryan Wilson, Elijah Swafford, Braylen Marcille, Molly Jones, Garrett Couch, Makayla Baker, Arianna King, Lucas Miller and Cohen Long.  BUG Honor Roll students in Ms Rose’s class are Ayden Acahua, Jayden Barger, Aven Broadus, Beau Carter, Braylee Castillo, Alicyn Glenn, Shylah Hill, Mady Lainhart, Levi Lewis, Landon Newton, Brooklin Rockey, Austin Sandlin, Madison Spencer and Kendra ThompsonSnacks were provided by Kiwanian Doris Marcum.  The BUG Program is made possible by the generous support of Kiwanis Corporate Member Austin Tri HawkThe Kiwanis believe the best way to improve a community is to improve the kids in the community.  Congratulations to these outstanding students!

The Scottsburg Kiwanis Club recognized eighteen students at Johnson Elementary School for making the BUG Honor Roll the first grading period.  BUG is a Kiwanis signature program to provide incentives to third graders to improve their grades.  BUG Honor Roll students from Mrs Rose’s class are Ali Couch, Sara Elliott, Nickolajoh Neace, Tina Sandlin, Nicholas Scott, Arya Stillions and Jaydon ZollmanFrom Mrs Meadow’s class are Kaden Akers, Harlie Baldwin, Lily Beck, Peyton Burke, Grady Duckwall, Glen Hess, Daesha March, Christopher Parks, Broden Schoettmer, Henry Tellez and Joshua Thomas.  To make the BUG Honor Roll these students had to bring up at least one grade in at least one subject and not go down in any others.  BUG Honor Roll students receive a party, a BUG T-Shirt, certificate with their name, subject(s) improved and signed by their teacher and principal; snacks and prizes.  Doris Marcum and Valerie Wilson provided the cookies.  Congratulations to these students for their hard work and success.
