VFES (Vienna Finley Elementary School) BUG Party

The Scottsburg Kiwanis Club recognized twenty-seven third graders at Vienna Finley Elementary School for making the BUG Honor Roll the first grading period.  BUG (Bring Up Grades) is a Kiwanis signature program designed to provide incentives for third graders to improve their grades.  To make the BUG Honor Roll a student must improve at least one grade in at least one subject and not go down in any other subjects.  BUG Honor Roll students are thrown a party, presented a certificate that identifies the subject(s) they improved, a BUG t-shirt the first time they make the BUG Honor Roll, snacks and prizesBUG Honor Roll students in Ms Lucas’ class are Brody Amos, Nathan Garcia, Gertie Gregory, Evie Huffman, Lia Knowles, Finn Sawin, Scotty Smith, Oliver Soto and Lucas Wimp.  BUG Honor Roll students in Ms Thomas’ class are Andrew Asdell, Carmen Brown, Owen Brown, Kinley Brown, Gavyn Busick, Maddix Milker and Ceaira MosierBUG Honor Roll students in Ms Dulaney’s class are Hadley Barton-Smith, Maggie Broadus, Reagan Campbell, Rachael Carey, Braxton Cole, James Dixon, Bayley Engle, Brayden Laso, Briar McCrady, Bennett Pearcy and Landon Toppe.  Cookies were provided by Kiwanis Corporate Member Lake Pointe Village.  The BUG Program is made possible by the sponsorship of Kiwanis Corporate Member Austin Tri Hawk.  Congratulations to each of these outstanding students.  The BUG Honor Roll is presented each grading period.
