The Scottsburg Kiwanis Club donated $1,000 to the Kiwanis Indiana District for Riley Children’s Hospital and the “3 Wishes Program” to help reduce the age of diagnosis of children in Indiana with autism and developmental delay. Pictured are from left to right, Amber Miller, Riley Children’s Hospital coordinator with the Kiwanis Indiana District Foundation; Al Riggle, President of the Scottsburg Kiwanis Club; Steve Ingram, Kiwanis Indiana District Governor; Victoria Dougherty, Riley Children’s Hospital; and Denny Yoder, past Indiana District Governor and Chair of the KIDS Committee (Kiwanians who work directly with Riley Children’s Hospital on project and programs affecting kids all over the state of Indiana. Thank you to the generosity of the Scott County community, and the Kiwanis Family working together on the annual spaghetti dinner to make this donation possible. The spaghetti dinner was a huge success this year thanks to support from the community and the SHS Key Club and SMS Builders Club made baked goods to sell as dessert to be their donation to Riley. Thanks for making a difference!
