The Scottsburg Kiwanis Club recognized fifty-nine third graders at Austin Elementary School for making the BUG Honor roll the second grading periodBUG (Bringing Up Grades) is a Kiwanis signature program that provides incentives to students to improve their grades.  To make the BUG Honor Roll a student must improve at least one grade in at least one subject and not go down in any other subjects.  BUG Honor Roll students in Mrs Coomer’s class are Chloe Blaylock, Joshua Blevins, Madalynn Buckel, Peyton Caplinger, Jeremiah Clay, Emaleigh Edwards, Cooper Hall, Lauren Hanner, Kailey Helton, Landon Keith, Brayden Konkler, Tracer LaMaster, Andy McIntosh, Kaidence McIntosh, Jayleigh Schepman, Rakia Sherrard, Billy Spicer, Abigail Terry and Hailey WhiteMrs Stamper’s BUG Honor Roll students are Kaylie Spicer, Kingston Begley, Benjamin Bowling, Madison Hickman, Jasmine Acuna, Adalyn Shuler, Brooklyn Coulter, James Johnson, Kaeda Orman, Madeline Pelston and Thomas SmithMrs Reynold’s BUG Honor Roll students are  Cale Barger, Andrea Bowers, Robert Ely, Emma Engle, Kaleb Jennings, Carson Jones, Tierney Judd and Xochitl Mejia. Mr Carr’s BUG Honor Roll students are Jacob Collins, Malikah Dean, Raelynn Montgomery, Bryson Sandlin, Isabella Wilhelm, Audrey Williams, Samantha White, Johnny Stewart and Hattie StrongMs Norton’s BUG Honor Roll students are Tayliana GipsonKruz Dozier, Kyler Collins, Dustin Keith, Kayleigh Brown, Grayson Ingram, Kloey Kallembach, Harrison Kilburn, Allysson Wass, Maggie Mosley, Nakita Tse and Khloe Watts.  BUG Honor Roll students receive a BUG T-Shirt the first time they make the BUG Honor Roll, a certificate identifying the subject(s) they improved, snacks and prizes.  Cupcakes were provided courtesy of Kiwanis Corporate Member, Hampton Oaks Health Campus.  Congratulations to these students for their outstanding performance!
