The Indiana State Legislature last week began its regular 2017 session meeting schedule and that means an excellent educational opportunity is again up and running: the Indiana House Page Program.

Please review the information below and apply or contact my office if it sounds of interest for your child or a child you know.

Thank you for spreading the word about this great program!

Rep. Terry Goodin seeks students to serve as legislative pages
STATEHOUSE – State Rep. Terry Goodin urges Indiana House District 66 students who are interested in learning about the legislative process to apply for the 2017 House Page Program.

The program, designed for students who are at least 13 years of age, offers a firsthand look at the legislative process.

Participating students are excused from class for a day as they tour the Indiana Statehouse and take part in a wide range of activities, including a behind-the-scenes look at the workings of the Indiana State Legislature.

When the House of Representatives is in session, pages are invited to view the proceedings from the floor of the chamber.

Pages must supply their own transportation to and from the Statehouse in downtown Indianapolis.
