Austin ES Bug Party

The Scottsburg Kiwanis Club recognized fifty-one third grader at Austin Elementary School for making the BUG Honor Roll the first grading period.  BUG is a Kiwanis signature program that provides incentives to students to improve their grades.  BUG Honor Roll students from Mrs Coomer’s class are Chloe Blaylock, Peyton Caplinger, Emaleigh Edwards, Cooper Hall, Lauren Hanner, Brayden Konkler, Jayleigh Schepman, Billy Spicer, Abigail Terry, Josh Blevins, Madalynn Buckel, Jeremiah Clay, Kailey Helton, Gauge Hubbard, Landon Keith, Tracer LaMaster, Kaidence Mcintosh and Rakia Sherrard.  From Mr Carr’s class Khloe Bowles, Thomas McCormick, Johnny Stewart, Samantha White, Isabella Wilhelm, Audrey Williams.  From Mrs Stamper’s class Madison Hickman, James Johnson, Micah McCoskey, Madeline Pelston and Kaylie Spicer.  From Mrs Stagnolia’s class Shayna Hall, Ashlynn Madden, Emma Marlow, Wyatt Pruett, Xander Richie, Sloane Barrett, Allyson Davidson, Jaxon Wilson, Briley Bary and Kailyn Gibson.  From Ms Norton’s class Kruz Dozier, Tayliana Gipson, Grayson Ingram, Nakita Tse, Bryson Mullins, Khloe Watts, Lyndsey Caffee, Maggie Mosley, Harrison Kilburn, Allysson Wass, Kloey Kallenbach and Kayleigh Brown.  To make the BUG Honor Roll students have to improve at least one grade in at least one subject and not go down in any others.  The Kiwanis throw a party for them which includes a BUG T-Shirt, certificate with their name that identifies the subject(s) they improved, snacks and prizes.  Georgianna Elliott and Stock Yard Bank a corporate member of the Scottsburg Kiwanis Club provided the cookies.  Congratulations to these students on their hard work and success!
