The Scottsburg Middle School Builders Club participated in the annual Kiwanis 5K to raise money for the Child Abuse Prevention Program. Thanks to outstanding community support they were able to raise $800 for this important program. They won the $100 award for obtaining the most overall sponsors for the run. Pictured are Don Cooper from the Kiwanis club presenting the certificate to Builders Club President Treyton Caudill and members of the Builders Club. The Builders Club is sponsored by the Kiwanis Club and is part of the Kiwanis Family of Clubs in Scott County. Their purpose is to develop leadership skills through community service.
