Twice Told Tales will be open Saturday, August 27, 9:00 am to 2:00 pm.  The used book store is at 765 South Main, Scottsburg.
     The specials are amazing…..
Mix and Match – Any books by Jan Karon, LaVeryl Spencer, Nevada Barr, and/or J.A. Jance are only 5 for $1.
Half-price – Added to the remaining Louis L’Amour and Dana Fuller Ross paperbacks are more Westerns by various authors.
Mmmmmmmm, wonder what’s in the Western bookcase now?
Treasure of the Day – THE COMPLETE WORKS of William Shakespeare published by Oxford University Press.  This coffee-table-sized book was originally $35, but from us, it’s only $5.
The new-to-the-store case has several interesting selections.  A 4-volume set of HOW THINGS WORK will tempt any technologically-minded reader.   “Gentle” mystery readers might like the first 5 books in the Benni Harper series.  Each story is based on a quilt pattern.  Also available are the first 6 books in the Charles Lenox series.  Set in Victorian London, these mysteries are clever, charming, and full of period details.
Twice Told Tales is operated by Friends of the Library.  Donations are gratefully accepted any sale day.  All proceeds go to the Scott County Library and Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library.
