The Scottsburg Kiwanis Club hosted an end of year BUG party at Austin ES to celebrate the students who made the BUG Honor Roll the last grading period. BUG stands for Bringing Up Grades and is a Kiwanis signature program designed to provide incentives to students to improve their grades. To make the BUG Honor Roll a student must improve at least one grade in at least one subject and not go down in any other subjects. BUG Honor Roll students receive a BUG T-Shirt the first time they make the BUG Honor Roll, a certificate identifying the subject(s) they improved, snacks and prizes. They also receive a book the last BUG party for the year. BUG Honor Roll students in Mrs Fugate’s class are Travis Dehart, Peyton Everage, Talan Foga, Kelsey Hawkins, Ethan Hernandez, Kolten Mayse, Bryan Nieberlein, Delaney Shuler, Javen Smith, Grayson Squires, Aubry Terry, Stevbie Wooten and Ethan Swank. BUG Honor Roll students in Mrs Anderson’s class are Calli Arnold, Lizzy Baker, Kaylee Bush, Jeralynn Goodin, Bailee Madden, Kyleigh McCoskey, Kassidy Richie, Taylor Richey, Alex Robinson, Emma Smith, Callie Tincher, Payton Webb, Decorsia White, Jacklyn White and Madison White. BUG Honor Roll students in Mrs Stagnolia’s class are Brianna Bary, Jada Bush, Zackary Campbell, Michelle Cope, Ciera Davis, Aleah Dean, Addie Earl, Ava Hacker, Hannah Lewis, Gabriela Martinez, Victoria Martinez, Kiarra Orman, Aubrey Rohwer and Ayden Shepherd.
