The Scottsburg Kiwanis Club recognized 49 third graders at Austin ES for making the BUG Honor Roll the third grading period.  BUG (Bring Up Grades) is a Kiwanis signature program to provide incentives to third graders to improve their grades.  To make the BUG Honor Roll a student must improve at least one grade in at least one subject and not go down in any other subjects.  BUG Honor Roll students in Mrs Stamper’s class were Caleb Wooten, Gensin Caudill, Maggie Bennett, Bayleejo Terry, Reygan Lewis, Preston Johnson, Seazun Hignite and Michael Amos BUG Honor Roll students in Mrs Anderson’s class were Calli Arnold, Casey Cochenour, Jeralynn Goodin, Emma Smith, Jacklyn and Madison White.   BUG Honor Roll students in Mrs Fugate’s class were Ethan Hernandez, Delaney Shuler, Peyton Everage, Javen Smith, Kolten Mayse, Addison Goens, Kelsey Hawkins, Travis Dehart, Stevie Wooten, Bryan Nieberlein, Ethan Swank, Talan Foga and Grayson SquiresBUG Honor Roll students in Mrs Coomer’s class were Mason Barger, Allison Cole, Nathan Cornett, Breanna Hall, Elee Hedge, Brison Hensley, Kadon Hollan, Jaylee Jessup, Timberly Kovener, Corbin Leep, Kelsey Pinto-Herrera, Reagan Sherrard and Travis SpicerBUG Honor Roll students from Mrs Reynolds class were Kierra Albertson, Katrina Cooper, Jonah Copple, Gregory Dilger, Siena Kelly, Brianna Mihalik, Lexi Mullins, Nate Rutherford, Jayce Smith and Trey Yeakle.  BUG Honor Roll students receive a certificate identifying the subject they improved, a party with snacks and prizes and a BUG T-shirt the first time they make the BUG Honor Roll.  Special thanks to our Kiwanis Corporate Member Lake Point Village and Linette Colwell for providing the ice cream for the BUG party.  Congratulations to each of these students for their hard work.
