All are welcome to the April 21st Scott County Recovery-Oriented System of Care SUMMIT:
Many of you may have heard about the upcoming community summit where the Get Healthy Scott County coalition will be finishing our “deep dive” (environmental scan of Scott County) and collaboratively deciding on next steps based on gaps and barriers discovered.
We hope many of you can attend this all-day summit and offer valuable input. Anyone you serve is also welcome to attend:
- We need your expertise, your experience, your education, your knowledge, your participation, your input, your time, and YOU!!
When: Thursday, April 21, 2016 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Where: Hope to Others Ministry (H20) 485 Mann Avenue, Austin, IN 47102
What: The day will be filled with creating a framework for a Recovery-Oriented Services of Care that will address our needs, our existing services, our deficits, and our barriers in the areas of prevention, mental health and substance abuse treatment services, criminal justice, and recovery and re-entry services for those leaving incarceration or inpatient treatment.
Why: All of us have the piece of the puzzle that we can contribute as we go from a community in crisis to a community that is recovery-focused with hope for the future being a happy and healthy place for our citizens of all ages. Thank you for your commitment to making Scott County a community where abundant life and dignity are possible.
