LeAnn Osterhoudt at the Scott County Partnership
The Scott County Partnership is happy to announce LeAnn Osterhoudt as the new Prevention Resource Coordinator. In this role, she will coordinate the Partnerships for Success grant along with other prevention grants and efforts. She will also oversee different educational initiatives that the Partnership implements at both school districts, such as SCARB, Career Clusters, High School Circles, etc.
“I am thrilled about my new position with the Partnership. I have a strong passion for working with youth and communities members and I am excited to learn more about here in people in Scott County”, said Osterhoudt. “I am eager to participate in the community and school prevention programs, as well as continue to increase my knowledge with grants and grant writing.”
LeAnn earned her Bachelor’s Degree in psychology from Indiana University Southeast in December, 2013. During her time at the University, she was a research assistant with the Applied Research and Education Center and interned for the Community Foundation of Southern Indiana. After her graduation she began working for Youth Villages, an in-home service provider, located in Jeffersonville. LeAnn obtained experience working in Scott County during her time with Youth Villages, by helping local families to acquire needed skills to be able to live harmoniously in the family home and increase their chances to have a successful future.
Osterhoudt said, “I am grateful to have this opportunity to grow in my skills, and work beside so many passionate community leaders in Scott County. The work being done here is truly making a difference and I am excited to get to work with the Partnership.”
