The Scottsburg Kiwanis Club recognized eighteen students at Lexington ES for improving their grades the second grading period.  These students made the BUG Honor Roll by improving at least one grade in at least one subject and not going down in any other subjects for the grading period.  BUG Honor Roll students in Mrs Shuler’s class were Dylan Best, Katie Montgomery, Jaylynn Petty, Harmony Tankersley, Noah Mundt and Nora YoungBUG Honor Roll students in Mrs Hale’s class were Caden Barger, Bailee Rush, Austin Chapman, Kyleigh Clements, Isabella Cox, Colby Hall, Alysha Johnson, Bailey Keown, Joshua Lainhart, Bryson Mata, Grant McGlothlin and Cayleigh Turner.  The BUG Program is a Kiwanis signature program designed to provide incentives to students to improve their grades.  Students who make the BUG Honor Roll receive a certificate identifying the subject(s) they improved, a BUG T-Shirt the first award, and a party with snacks.  Kiwanis Corporate members Hickory Creek and Hampton Oaks provided muffins.  Congratulations to these students for their hard work!
