The Scottsburg Kiwanis Club recognized sixty-two third graders at Austin ES for making the BUG Honor Roll. Students recognized in Mrs Anderson’s class were Lizzy Baker, Kaylee Bush, Jeralynn Goodin, Kyleigh McCoskey, Alex Robinson, Emma Smith, Payton Webb and Madison White. Students recognized in Mrs Coomer’s class were Mason Barger, Allison Cole, Nathan Cornett, Ellee Hedge, Brison Hensley, Breanna Hall, Kadon Hollan, Jaylee Jessup, Timberly Kovener, Kelsey Pinto-Herrera, Reagan Sherrard, Estralla Simon, Corbin Leep and Travis Spicer. Students recognized in Mrs Fugate’s class were Talan Foga, Addie Goens, Kelsey Hawkins, Ethan Hernandez, Kolten Mayse, Javen Smith, Grayson Squires, Ethan Swank, Peyton Everage, Travis Dehart and Stevie Wooten. Students recognized in Mrs Stamper’s class were Caleb Wooten, Gensin Caudill, Maggie Bennett, James Johnson, Camden Snyder, Bayleejo Terry, Kelsi Groenenboom, Preston Johnson, Levi Blocker, Kaidance McCormick, Seazun Hignite, Michael Amos and Regan Lewis. Students recognized in Mrs Stagnolia’s class were Jacob Heath, Addie Earl, Jada Bush, Ciera Davis, Hailey Webster, Brianna Bary, Aleah Dean, Selena Davisson, Ava Hacker, Ayden Shepherd, Ethan Lee, Michelle Cope, Victoria Martinez, Gabriela Martinez and Kiarra Orman. Students had to improve at least one grade in at least one subject and not go down in any other subjects to make the BUG Honor Roll. Congratulations to these students for their hard work. These students received a certificate identifying the subject(s) they improved, a BUG T-Shirt for the first time winners, and a party with prizes. Kiwanis Corporate Members Hickory Creek and Hampton Oaks provided muffins for the party. BUG is a Kiwanis signature program designed to provide incentives to students to improve their grades.
