Mike Murry and Tina Rice from Austin Tri-Hawk Automotive (ATA) recently spoke at the Kiwanis dinner meeting at the Quality Inn. Mike is the Vice President of Administration and Tina is the Safety Administrator. Pictured with Mike are from left to right Kiwanis member Dave Church, Tina Rice, Mike Murry and Kiwanis President David Wilson. Mike gave a presentation of ATA’s company profile, philosophy and history. Mike also highlighted the company’s contributions to the community and local schools. The presentation included pictures of employees who are alumni of Austin High School, showing their current positions at ATA. Tina also participated in the question and answer session following the presentation. Quality workmanship and adherence to high standards has propelled ATA to the top of the industry in performance and provided them the opportunity for new product which has allowed ATA to grow and hire more employees. ATA feels very strongly about being an active partner in the community and gives back to the community in many ways. ATA is involved in mentoring students to help them with their resumes and job interviews. Mike is retired from the United States Air Force. The Scottsburg Kiwanis Club thanked Mike and Tina for their informative presentation and for the positive impact that Austin Tri-Hawk Automotive has on our community.
