The Scottsburg Kiwanis Club recognized fifteen students from Mrs Rose’s third grade class at Johnson ES for improving their grades the first grading period

 

IMG_0101The Scottsburg Kiwanis Club recognized fifteen students from Mrs Rose’s third grade class at Johnson ES for improving their grades the first grading periodThese students made the BUG Honor Roll:  Connor Camp, Aiden Cole, Autumn Couch, Trenton Couch, Owen Everhart, Devin Fitch, Richard Foster, Gabby Hensley, Gracie Holbrook, Olivia Johnson, Hailey Laney, Gavin Newton, Ellie Richardson, Carson Royse and Emma Taylor.  BUG (Bringing Up Grades) is a Kiwanis signature program designed to provide incentives to third graders to improve their grades.  This is the fourth year Johnson ES and the Kiwanis have partnered to host the BUG Program.  BUG Honor Roll students receive a certificate identifying the subject they improved, a BUG T-shirt the first time they make the BUG Honor Roll, snacks and prizes at a party hosted by the Kiwanis.  The BUG Program would not be possible without the support of the Youth Grantmaking Council who provided the T-shirts and Millie Cooper who provided the cookies.
