The Scottsburg Kiwanis Club showed its appreciation to our teachers by hosting a back to school lunch. Pictured are from left to right Darryl Smith, Nick South, Al Riggle, Chris Wakeman and John Mastin. The Kiwanis members really appreciate all our teachers do for our kids and making our community a better place. The lunch was a small way to say thanks! The Kiwanians grilled 120 hamburgers and 30 lbs of chicken and served potato salad and pasta salad with cookies for approximately 170 teachers and staff. Chris Wakeman organized the event. A Place To Be prepared the potato and pasta salad. Cookies were donated by Millie Cooper, Betty Clark and Lonna Riggle. Thank you to our teachers and we look forward to a great school year!
